GWork training evaluation worksheet

Start with the Evaluation-plan.csv file. Open it in Excel, Google Sheets or another spreadsheet editor. Duplicate the blank row for each target workplace action. Keep participant-identifiable data in your approved systems; this template does not collect or transmit data.

Use the separate Session-feedback.csv to improve delivery. Use Application-review.csv after people have had a real opportunity to apply the learning. Agree dates with the cohort: 30 days is a planning example, not a universal measurement rule.

Do not treat attendance, satisfaction, confidence or self-report alone as evidence of behaviour change. Keep “no opportunity”, “not applied”, “no response” and “observed application” separate. Report who responded and which denominator you used. These worksheets are planning aids, not validated survey instruments, individual employee ratings or proof of causal training ROI.

Example (illustrative, not customer results):
A manager workshop teaches clearer delegation. The target action is to agree an owner, deadline and definition of done when delegating a task. A manager reviews a suitably redacted task brief with the participant after an eligible delegation opportunity. Twenty people attended; twelve responded; ten reported an opportunity; seven of those ten supplied an example meeting the agreed criteria. Report 7/10 eligible respondents with a reviewed example, and 12/20 response coverage. Do not report “70% of all participants changed behaviour”. Discuss the eight missing responses and two respondents without an opportunity before deciding what to change.

A proportionate next step: keep the practice, adjust the prompt, provide an opportunity, fix a workflow barrier, or collect better evidence. Name an owner and a next review date.
